Very good fish and chips from the Cod Squad. The best I have found in Portsmouth and Southsea so far. Perfectly cooked crisp, thick cut chips and well cooked cod with a nice thin crisp batter. The regular portions were more like a large from some other chip shops and the meal was decent value at £11.70 for regular cod, regular chips and mushy peas. Highly recommended.

This fish n chip shop is a little hidden gem. I would say that the chips are the best I've ever had from such a shop, being double-cooked, well-cooked and presented. The cod is lovely white, chunky fish surrounded by crispy batter. As for the battered haggis - it is delicious! We take ours and sit down by the Hayling Ferry at Eastney. Bliss!
